More than likely, all of us have been on a ferris wheel before, whether it has been at a carnival, fair, or a local amusement park. How would you like to ride one that is 560 feet tall? Don't laugh, as that very size of an attraction is now being built over in Singapore, and in fact, groundbreaking began on Tuesday! Singapore Flyer, as its being called, will be the tallest ferris wheel in the world once its constructed, which will take about 30 months for completion. The attraction will be located at Marina Bay, which is known as the future downtown for Singapore, and when at the top, you will be able to see 28 miles into Malaysia and Indonesia, according to officials. In its first year of operation, the Singapore Flyer is expected to draw in 2.5 million visitors. The London Eye, which opened back in 1999, and is a bit smaller than this version will be, has attracted around 15,000 people a day since its opening. Two German Banks will fund this mammoth attraction, which will be $142 million dollars!

When I read it, I was thinking "What kind of crack did he get a hold of?" Then I actually read the topic. Sounds cool.
